Micro-Grant Program

Empowering Women, One Small Grant at a Time

As part of our commitment to making entrepreneurial resources truly accessible, we are proud to introduce the Women’s Micro-Grant Program. This initiative is designed to give female entrepreneurs the early-stage financial boost they need to start, test or grow their business ideas.

How It Works

  • Quarterly Funding Cycles – Applications open four times a year.
  • Member-Funded – A portion of every Standard Tier membership fee is allocated directly into the grant fund.
  • Grant Size – £500 awarded per cycle to successful applicants.
  • Eligibility – the launch grant is open to ALL female entrepreneurs whether members or non-members. However, future grants will be exclusively to members on the Standard Tier (coming January 2026).

Purpose & Impact

Many female entrepreneurs face barriers when it comes to securing capital — particularly in the early days. Our women’s micro-grant program helps remove those barriers by offering:

  • Practical Support – Funds can be used for essential business activities.
  • Confidence & Validation – A grant is more than financial support — it signals belief in a woman’s business or idea.
  • Community Impact – Because grants are funded from a portion of every Standard Tier membership fee, every award represents women helping women succeed.

Each cycle, two female entrepreneurs are awarded £500 each, to be invested directly into activities that strengthen their ventures. The fund is designed to support areas that align with our four key pillars of entrepreneurial success:

  1. Essential Business Support – covering vital business setup or operational costs such as incorporation fees, legal advice, accounting, insurance, or marketing.
  2. Education & Mentorship – investing in training programmes, workshops, or one-to-one guidance that builds the skills and confidence needed to grow.
  3. Networks & Industry Experts – enabling access to conferences, networking events, or community memberships that open doors to opportunities and collaborations.
  4. Funding & Investment Opportunities – in particular, preparing for future growth by accessing investment readiness mentoring or support to secure larger funding rounds.

Application & Selection

  • Complete a simple online application during the quarterly cycle.
  • Applications are assessed on clarity, feasibility and potential impact.
  • Recipients are announced on the website and featured in our community blog/newsletter for visibility and inspiration.

Why It Matters

The Women’s Micro-Grant Program makes our online portal more than a list of resources — it becomes a living, supportive ecosystem where knowledge, mentorship, networks, and funding come together.

By joining as a Standard Tier member, women don’t just gain access to resources — they also join a movement of mutual support, directly funding and celebrating the success of their peers.
