The team has over 16 years of experience in child development and works closely with the community and key professionals to bring children fun, engaging and meaningful learning resources.
Every element of the brand, from books, to evergreen toys, to music and TV productions, has been specially developed to incorporate elements of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework, enabling children to get a head start on skills in reading, writing, and mathematics, whilst sparking their imaginations and nurturing creativity.
Making an impact where it matters
Sustainability and encouraging families to live greener, healthier lives is a core mission at Green Bean Studios. In addition to developing their Eco range of toys and games, they work hard to ensure they operate in people- and planet-friendly ways. The founder and the sales team formed its first working relations with local independent businesses, ensuring wherever possible that the brand supports and gives back to local communities and third world countries .
A key part of this mission is to improve child development for under fives and encourage more children to get active and love outdoor play, to tackle the childhood obesity crisis and mental health issues that children are facing. This spurred the business to produce their first music album, Time To Dance – upbeat, energetic and joyful music that encourages families to be active by enjoying moving and dancing to the beats.
To create the album, the founder Anita Frost hand picked incredibly talented vocal artists and music industry professionals, from exceptional homegrown talent in Green Bean’s home city of Manchester, to globally renowned names in the media and music industry.
Community events and giving back
The team have been busy on tour recently with live interactive storytime events hosted in libraries, schools, community areas and key retail spaces across the UK. These events are an immersive and unforgettable experience for children to enjoy fun storytelling and activities with their favourite characters from the Green Bean Collection stories, as told by the author.

Coming to a TV screen near you soon…
Since the much loved children’s books launched, Green Bean fans have been keen to see the stories brought to life with an animated TV series and feature length films. This is a vision long shared by the team, and they are excited to reveal that they are in the early stages of production for a children’s animated TV series based on Anita’s adventure stories, with an episode currently in development.
The proposed animated series in development features the leading character Green Bean, along with five of Green Bean’s friends. These unique and relatable characters embark on exciting adventures within the beautiful lands of Adventure Dales, the fictional world in which the series is set. Each character has a distinctive yet lovable personality which appeals to children aged two to ten years old, as well as parents and broadcasters.
The featured episodes will be brought to life with vibrant colours, upbeat and catchy music, and memorable phrases which each character is known for. There will be a real sense of joy in this series, with plenty of humour and hilarious belly-laughing moments that will amuse both children and parents. With cheeky, witty lines brought to life by the characters, children will love watching this for the feel-good factor and entertainment.
Following on from the TV series, the business plans to produce combined animated and live-action feature length films which further explore the magic and mysteries of the fictional world of Adventure Dales and the lovable characters within it.
