GRANTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) set out the rules for participation in the Women’s Micro-Grant Program (“the Program”), delivered by UNTAPPED FR LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”). By submitting an application, applicants agree to these T&Cs.

1. Eligibility

  • The Program is open to female entrepreneurs and business owners who are members of Untapped FR.
  • For the Founders’ Launch Grant (first cycle), applications are open to all female entrepreneurs (Free and Standard members).
  • For all subsequent cycles, applications will be open to only members or our resource hub.
  • Applicants must be aged 18 years old or over.
  • Employees, contractors or close family members of the platform founders are not eligible.

2. Grant Amounts & Frequency

  • Grants are awarded quarterly (four times a year).
  • Typical grant amounts are £500 per recipient, unless otherwise specified.
  • The Founders’ Launch Grant totals £1,000, split equally between two recipients (£500 each).

3. Application Process

  • Applications must be submitted via the official online form provided by us.
  • Applications must be completed in full and submitted before the stated deadline.
  • Only one application per person per cycle is permitted.
  • Late, incomplete or fraudulent applications will not be considered.

4. Assessment & Selection

  • Applications are reviewed by a panel of independent judges, selected for their expertise and commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs.
  • Applications are scored against three criteria:
    1. Clarity of Business Need
    2. Feasibility & Use of Grant
    3. Potential Impact
  • Scores are combined to create a shortlist. Final decisions are made collectively by the panel.
  • The judges’ decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.

5. Use of Grant

  • Grants must be used to support business activities, business activities such as support areas that align with our four key pillars of entrepreneurial success.
  • Grants may not be used for personal expenses unrelated to the business.
  • Recipients agree to provide a short update (written or recorded) within 3 months of receiving funds, outlining how the grant was used.

6. Payment of Grant

  • Grants will be paid via bank transfer to the account details provided by the recipient within 2 weeks.
  • Payments are made in GBP (£).
  • We are not responsible for any tax implications; recipients are responsible for declaring the grant income where required.

7. Publicity & Promotion

  • By applying, applicants agree that their name, business and application story may be used in promotional materials, newsletters, blogs and social media.
  • Recipients will be invited to participate in publicity activities (e.g., interviews, case studies) to inspire the wider community.

8. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • All application information will be treated confidentially and shared only with the judging panel.
  • Personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant UK GDPR regulations.

9. General

  • We reserve the right to withdraw, amend or cancel the Program at any time, with reasonable notice.
  • If a recipient is found to have breached these T&Cs, the grant may be withdrawn and repayment requested.
  • Participation in the Program does not create any employment, partnership or agency relationship.
